Driver Assist Updates

For 2026, Volkswagen is using driver-assist across models. Highway Driving Assist with lane-centering and adaptive cruise is now standard or available on Tiguan, Taos, Atlas, and ID.4. Rear automatic braking and cross-traffic alerts are more available.

2026 Volkswagen Atlas & Atlas Cross Sport

The newest iteration of the Volkswagen Atlas features interior updates with a redesigned center stack and new USB-C ports. Driver assist features were updated, while the engine is staying relatively the same.

2026 Volkswagen ID.4

This year’s ID.4 features an updated ride quality and steering. They also upgraded the cabin finishes.

In 2026, VW introduced another vehicle to its electric ID lineup with the all-new VW  ID.7, featuring a new EV platform experience, 300 miles of range, a long wheelbase design, with rapid charging that will charge to 80% in under 30 minutes.

2026 Volkswagen Jetta/Jetta GLI

The 2026 VW Jetta carries over the 1.5-liter four-cylinder, making 158 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque from last year’s model. As for updates to the newest Jetta model interior finishes, larger displays on higher trims, and adaptive cruise availability were all added to enhance the Jetta’s value.

2026 Volkswagen Taos

The 2026 Volkswagen Taos is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with an 80-speed automatic transmission. The newest features on the Taos this year are wireless smartphone connectivity and a refined digital gauge cluster, highlighting updates to the vehicle, keeping the Taos as efficient and versatile as ever.

2026 Volkswagen Tiguan

Volkswagen first announced the Tiguan in 2008, providing car owners. with a solid mid-size SUV with a quality VW interior and a powerful turbocharged engine. Fast forward to 2025, and the newest iteration of the Tiguan adds new trims, premium seating, and advanced tech updates. Highway Driving Assist is now more common, while the 2.0T engine and seven-seat capacity continue to be a possibility for families.
